The world’s oldest international rally series is the ultimate training ground for young hopefuls aiming for the top of the sport while also providing a logical next step for national champions.
Contested over eight events from April to October, the ERC calendar features events on asphalt and gravel with drivers counting their best six scores, thus placing the onus on intense competition.
Events include the spectacular Azores Airlines Rallye based on the mid-Atlantic island of São Miguel, the legendary Acropolis Rally in Greece, plus Rally di Roma Capitale, which is new to the ERC for 2017 and passes close to Rome’s famous Colosseum.
As well as a providing a clear progress path for young drivers through the ERC Junior U27 and U28 championships, which offer substantial prize packages and incentives, the ERC is open to all-comers. Drivers and co-drivers chase prestigious FIA titles in three distinctive divisions based on car performance: ERC1, ERC2 and ERC3. There is also the revamped FIA European Rally Championship for Teams, plus the ERC Ladies’ Trophy.

16-18: Cyprus Rally (Cyprus, asphalt and gravel)
3-5: Rally Rzeszow (Poland, asphalt) ERC Junior
25-27: Barum Czech Rally Zlín (Czech Republic, asphalt) ERC Junior
15-17: Rally di Roma Capitale (Italy, asphalt) ERC Junior
6-8: Rally Liepāja (Latvia, gravel) ERC Junior
